May I just say it was a beautiful day for a fishing tournament! Wow! If you missed the sunrise, check out Jon Griffin’s pictures – gorgeous! The May pick tournament was held this morning from 7 to noon, and here are the results:

Big Bass – Mark Grigsby – 5.01 lbs (woo hoo)

1st Individual – Tim Downs – 12.08 lbs

2nd Individual – Tony Saltarski – 7.08 lbs

3rd Individual – Mark Grigsby – 7.03 lbs

1st Team – Tim Downs/Corey Pankey – 18.15 lbs

2nd Team – Tony Saltarski/Hunter Ball – 12.14 lbs

3rd Team – Julie and Mark Grigsby – 12.03 lbs (woo hoo)

There were 18 anglers and everyone caught at least 1 fish. Limits were weighed in by Pierce Johnston, Jesse de la Rosa, Paul Poole, James Roark, Mark Grigsby, Steve Dillon, Mel Hodges, Tony Saltarski, Hunter Ball, Jon Griffin, Tim Downs, Corey Pankey, and yours truly.

Others bringing in a catch were Rick Huffman, Jason Burnett, Tim Casbeer, Amy Johnston, and Noel? (Jesse’s partner)

Tony Saltarski holds a slim lead over Tim Downs for 1st place, so far …. One of Tim Downs’ fish had an eye problem …other fish were caught, catfish, and crappie.

It was just a great day to be on the lake!
