Lake Vilbig is a private lake. It is owned by the Irving Lake Association (ILA), Inc., a Texas non-profit corporation funded by dues paid by the lot owner-members.
The ILA comprises the lot owners whose properties abut Lake Vilbig and have annexed the lot to the ILA via the property deed.
