Happening this Saturday, residents will have free access to Hunter Ferrell Landfill. Residents can dispose of household trash, bulky items, loose leaves, clean brush, and other materials free of charge.

Thanks for the info. Did something change recently… the landfill used to be free for all residents hauling household trash?

Yes, they had to dig another hole because of all the commercial dumping where they are losing money. So they’ve passed it on to the residents. The first hole was to last a hundred years with just Irving dumping, but the politicians thought they could make a lot of money by letting anyone dump from anywhere. They were wrong.
