National Night Out

The ILA participated in the Annual National Night Out on Tuesday, October 1, from 6-8 pm at Cypress Cove Park. The ILA puts together the event, which is held every year. The Social Committee Ping Wang and Andy Jia provided fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, prosciutto/salami roll-ups, crackers, chips, guacamole, hummus, cookies, and bottled water. There were over 22 participants, including ILA and non-ILA members and neighbors. It was good to see old friends while making new ones. We also appreciated the participation of the Irving Police, Fire, and Code Enforcement officials. This annual event brings together communities and law enforcement to promote crime prevention and neighborhood safety.
