2008 ILA Fall Festival

The 2008 ILA Fall Festival held Oct 11 at the ILA Park was a huge success and fun was had by all. Neighbors brought together to share laughter and fellowship. Activities of all kinds were provided for the children, running through the haunted cemetery, making crafts and getting their hair spray- painted rainbow colors to name a few events. Assorted foods, drinks, and cake walks fit the Fall Festival Theme.

Fourteen lucky winners walked away with cake, cookies, or brownies from the “pass the pumpkin” cakewalk.

The costume contest was the hit of the night. Some of the adults got into the theme this year such as Bobette the Construction Worker - Beverly Root, Candy Corn Witch - Debi Grigsby, Big Scary Man - Mark Grigsby, Warriors - Robert & Tammy Hinojosa. Assorted children costumes including Starlet, Kermit the Frog, Cheerleaders, Batmen, little Witches, Darth Vader and many more…..

Costume contest winners:

Scariest - Scary Man - Mark Grigsby Funniest - Kermit the Frog – Chandler Cox Best Overall - GI Joe - Most Original - Bobette the Builder – Beverly Root
