TREE GIVEAWAY

Writer's picture: John R MikalikJohn R Mikalik

From Cecilia Dusk - Environmental Chair

“Many trees in our lovely Cypress Cove Park have unfortunately died/fallen in the past few years. On Saturday, Nov. 18th, the City of Irving is giving away 500 free trees in 3-gallon-sized pots at Heritage Park (217 S. Main St) at 9 am. If you can pick up a free tree for donation to Cypress Cove Park, please do! Last year, they were gone quickly.

You can drop it off at 1522 Lakeshore or join volunteers to help plant them. Planting just a few new trees each year will help maintain the beauty of our park for years to come.”
